How we ranked this
Websites are ranked by Similarweb's estimated worldwide monthly visits to each domain (desktop and mobile web combined) for August 2026, in billions as shown in Similarweb's Top 100 Most Visited Websites ranking. All ten figures come from that one month and source. Bing.com and tiktok.com both round to 3.8 billion; they are listed in Similarweb's own rank order (Bing 8th, TikTok 9th). Similarweb's figures are modelled estimates, not exact counts, and app traffic is excluded. Rank 1 is the most visited.
FAQ
What is the most visited website in the world?
Google.com, with about 86.6 billion visits in August 2026 according to Similarweb, followed by YouTube.com at about 30.4 billion.
Why doesn't app traffic appear in this ranking?
Similarweb's website ranking measures visits through desktop and mobile web browsers only. Use inside mobile apps, which accounts for most time spent on services such as Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp, is not counted, so those services rank lower here than their total audience would suggest.
How is monthly traffic measured?
Similarweb estimates visits by modelling data from panels, partner data and direct measurement. The figures are estimates, not exact counts, and other providers such as Semrush produce different numbers and a somewhat different order. This list uses only Similarweb's August 2026 estimates.
